IRR-ELEPHANT?

IRR ELEPHANT and BOAR ING

Irrelevant and boring have been stated to be the two main reasons people give for leaving the church. (*RC Sproul in The Glory of God sermon) If a church is not talking about SIN and the amazing FORGIVENESS of God through Christ and SHOWING AND GIVING LOVE and acceptance to all, especially outright sinners, by the grace and mercy available through Christ then yes church is being irr-elephant!

But I suggest a REL- ELEPHANT Gospel principle to be:

"Love without license Acceptance without agreement Forgiveness without compromise"

Jerry Cook wrote this in his book, Love, Acceptance and Forgiveness.

If a church is NOT carrying the Presence of Christ, it would be BORING, .. (BORING, BORED, BOAR! Pun intended) and we can think God is boring and and IRR-Elephant and thus be deceived. Satan's power is in his lies.

Why do some churches seem IRR-EL- ELEPHANT when all or most of the world's views interact and oppose with Biblical themes and truths?

DO we know what GOD REALLY SAID? ie: What does God's Word say?

Do we recognize the lies that even Christians believe about just these 4 issues? What does the Word of God say on these issues? What is the TRUTH?

2. HOMOSEXUALITY 3. GENDER

4. SEXUALITY
