A few of my own edited/ideas and notes from a Tim Keller Sermon titled “Uncovering Identity”:

Galatians 3;14-15

God puts the curse we deserve on Jesus, the condemnation, all the sin or lack of living up to the standard…whatever we deserved, whatever satan says we deserve sometimes it is true BUT CHRIST TOOK ALL OF IT…ALL OUR SIN, its SHAME, ITS ETERNAL CONSEQUENCES, ITS DEATH AND HELL AND CURSE….WHEN YOU BELIEVE IN JESUS…JESUS TAKES what You DESERVE…and He gives you the BLESSING!!!! THIS IS LOVE! Do this, place your faith IN JESUS CHRIST AND HIS DEATH AND RESURRECTION ON YOUR BEHALF, do this believing and receiving and you will be accepted. Christianity says NO you don’t have to perform yourself, you just have to believe it was performed for you! It is the opposite of all other religions!… BELIEVE! and then you are accepted. All other religions say perform and then you are accepted. But so often “false christianity” inside the Christian church has given the wrong message. The wrong message is Believe obey saved. The True message, the correct GOOD NEWS is BELIEVE SAVED then OBEY! We are saved by believing not obeying! Believing comes first and changes everything! The order matters!

Phil 2 Jesus made himself nothing so we could have everything…so we could have a name and eternal life!

You are not good enough in and of yourself to EARN salvation is true but "You are not good enough in and of yourself" as a person is a statement that is a flat-out lie…Jesus says you are worth dying for and He did just that! He died so you could live eterally with Him!

…You will never amount to anything…a horrible LIE that need to be addressed. Your value is secure from the foundations of the earth. Christ knew you before you were born. Read through some of these verses and meditate on the truths of them. WE AMOUNT TO GREAT VALUE BECAUSE JESUS SAYS! And it is not because of our performance! Freedom!
