Art with Grandma
My fourteen grandchildren live all over the world including the Middle East, Oregon, California, and Virginia. Therefore, I am always dreaming of ways to spend time with them, even from afar.
The best activity so far has been Art with Grandma via Zoom.
Each week the children take turns picking something to draw, often animals. Then the children, who are old enough, join together via Zoom. YouTube has instructions on how to draw just about everything. Line by line, the children (ages three to nine) draw some amazing pictures.
The best outcome has been the relationships developed between their cousins and me. When I do visit them, which is not often enough, they already know me well. When we have family reunions, they understand how to love and encourage their cousins.
