Helpful to truly forgive others, yourself and live the real Gospel! Clear message to help post-abortive men and women know they can be forgiven and live with a clear conscious because of Christ. Clear message to those that have been sexually abused that recovery and restoration and redemption is possible! HOPE through hopeless times shines through. Recommend it to any searching for the Healer and healing or to help others and to share the true Gospel!

This book should be used in churches to help women and families get over the tragedy of abortion. Additionally, other helpful tools are for anyone who needs to forgive a spouse, or family member. The author's transparency and insights are very instrumental for understanding behaviors/choices from a dysfunctional upbringing.

Compelling and honest, the writer strips away at the aloof face of religious Christianity, revealing the passionate love of a forgiving Messiah- which is what the gospel is truly about.

This book covers subjects that most often remain hidden while the infection and pain eats a person alive. Deborah's willingness to honestly confront, embrace and shine the light of God's authentic love and truth about who we truly are and the paths we have truly walked has given me hope. And the hope eases the pain as Jesus slowly rebuilds my heart.
Thank you Ms. Saint for your courage

I read the whole book in ONE day! I could relate to the abuse and was really glad she talked about it openly, and then immediately interjected the sorrow with hope. A very rich book that I recommend to a women’s group that I lead.

An excellent metaphor of today's Christianity and the state of the church
June 3, 2017
An excellent metaphor of today's Christianity and the state of the church. The author has a unique perspective and solution for all who have been disillusioned with the lack of help from organized religion. The only answer is Jesus alone. The book is for those who have lost hope. It brings hope for anyone who feels rejected, unwanted, abandoned. Very well written and clearly with great passion to help others.
Despite years of trying to bring grace and love into my heart

The book is an awakening into past trauma that i buried. There were tears, laughs, and a validation of my pursuit to 'GET ' the gospel. My works mentality was/is alive and ticking, despite years of trying to bring grace and love into my heart. Deborah has managed to pierce my hardened heart ,and provide a vestige of hope for self love and forgiveness.
I want to unshackle from the unbearable weight that has prevented me from loving the world and Jesus !
This book has given me a direction to follow and a process of thinking that is hopeful and bringing a smile to my day.

This is a great book of one woman's testimony and the battles she won thru the Lord Jesus Christ in salvation! While the elephant cannot fit in your closet any more because it must obviously come out, unshackled and revealed by the presence & grace of our Lord and Savior! Beautifully written and enjoyed reading my Kindle version, Deb has a keen way with the details.

This is a moving testimony on brokeness, and God’s transformational healing power. It is presented in a very unique and creative way through the use of “elephants”, which was very helpful in having a visual to relate to. I was most drawn to the author’s courage and honesty in this story of redemption, and highly recommend this book to anyone seeking God’s healing in their life.

Have you suffered abuse at the hands of someone you love? Have you experienced the pain of abortion? Has the occult been part of your past? Have you suffered gender confusion? This book is a revelation of a woman's journey through each of these shackles to hope. Your journey to hope can begin as you read this book that reveals Truth from God's word; a journey to become unshackled.

A Lady with Conviction
Although I don't share the same beliefs as the author, her sincerity and struggles shone through her writing. The organized church comprised of religious people, certainly let her down on many occasions. This left her struggling with the feeling of being inferior and inadequate, unable to measure up to the expectations.
Her tenacity in seeking out a personal relationship with God is to be commended. She was not willing to settle for less and desperately needed to feel forgiven and at peace with the demons of her past.
Deborah Ann Saint's analogy of the "elephant in the room" was brilliant and a reminder that secrets and denial will only bring destruction, never redemption.
Kudos to this author for having the courage to put her beliefs and convictions into words.

Dear Sister Deborah,
I really enjoy the video, and your presentation in how you shared each section. I know your heart is sincere and I can see the love of God in you, and I am sure other people can too. Thank you for sharing from your heart, and the lessons that you are trying to tell other Christians. As Christians we are told to spread gospel which is our Messiah, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior to other people who might not know Jesus in a personal way and to have that daily relationship in walking and learning how to be like Ch
